Online Communications Project Manager Internship

As an intern in the Online Communications department for the project managers, you will learn how to plan, coordinate, execute and finalize projects; acquire a wide variety of diverse skills from consultation to management and communication; learn how to effectively provide solutions to assigned projects and oversee quality control of its life cycle; and develop and implement strategies in accordance with overall goals and objectives of the organization.

Also, learn how to effectively deal with a variety of situations and find appropriate solutions, and acquire relevant work experience and essential training for developing new innovative ideas and implementing new business strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Research possible solutions and provide measured arguments for and against each solution.
  • Define and document all required project tasks.
  • Recommend, implement, and manage the necessary project management tools.
  • Deliver weekly reports on the status of the schedule, missed tasks, milestones achieved, and identified risks.
  • Aid in the preparation and presentation of executive-level project progress and status reports.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Great interpersonal communication skills to get along with a variety of personalities.
  • Highly analytical, logical, and good problem solver.
  • Familiarity with both back-end and front-end web technologies.
  • Strategic understanding of cloud-based software services; experience with Salesforce.com and/or Eloqua.com a big plus.
  • Experience with web development life cycles including development, testing, and deployment as well as work breakdown, dependencies, and responsibilities.
