Alex Rothman

Research Associate

Alex Rothman is a Research Associate with the National Security and International Policy team at American Progress. He holds a bachelor's degree in international relations from Brown University, where he focused primarily on nonproliferation issues. Alex spent a semester studying at Kanda University in Tokyo, Japan and later wrote his senior thesis on Japan’s “nuclear taboo.” Prior to joining American Progress, Alex completed internships with the Council for a Livable World/Center for Arms Control and Nonproliferation and AECOM Environment. He is a native of Los Angeles, California.
