Stephen Steigleder
Policy Analyst
Stephen Steigleder is a Policy Analyst with the Postsecondary Education Program at American Progress. Prior to joining CAP, he served as a committee staffer on the House Appropriations Committee’s Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education Subcommittee. During his time on Capitol Hill, Stephen was responsible for advising the committee on issues pertaining to the Department of Labor and the Social Security Administration. He also worked as a budget and policy analyst at the Department of Health and Human Services and the Government Accountability Office.
Stephen holds a master’s degree in public policy from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree in history from Santa Clara University.
